Due to the Shadow developed NFX technology, the pickup is absolutely free of glare. All Nanoflex pickups absorb both the oscillations of the strings, as well as the bridge, and thereby transmit a sound that is similar to that of a microphone / bass pickup combination.@+@+The volume and tone control unit is mounted between the middle strings.
