Doepfer A-188-1D, Bucket Brigade Device Module@+Bucket brigade device module are used to delay audio signals before digital delays can diminish the effects produced by the BBD. BBDs have a number of very unique advantages (or disadvantages â depending on one's point of view) over their digital counterparts, which result from the specific characteristics of BBDs. BBD circuits can be regarded as a chain of sample-and-hold (S&H) units, which pass their voltages on to the next S&H in the chain at each clock pulse.@+In either case, the sound produced by the A-188-1 module is quite special.
